History of PAMP Suisse

PAMP was founded in 1977 in Castel San Pietro, in the Swiss canton of Ticino, and quickly became a brand known around the world. From the start PAMP made artistic products from precious metals.

In 1979 Mahmoud Kassem Shakarchi set up the trading company MKS SA in Geneva, which went on to take a controlling stake in PAMP (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) in 1981. The group expanded into new markets, and in 2021 the two businesses merged into one company, MKS PAMP SA.
