The Royal Mint stores bullion bought from it in The Vault, its in-house facility at Llantrisant, built to Federal Standard 832 Class A in 1986 and guarded on site 24 hours a day. Storage is on a fully allocated, segregated basis and is invoiced quarterly in arrears. HM Treasury is the sole shareholder of The Royal Mint.
